Born in Cleveland, Ohio. Patrick Durka's work explores the intersection of deep time and human history. 

 

He received a BA in Art education from Cleveland State University, and received his MFA in Visual Studies from 

Pacific College of Art. He currently lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, and teaches art in the Tooele Valley.
